Candles will be here on Tuesday, June 1st by noon. Pick up your candles between 12:30-3:30 pm. All candles must be picked up this day!

FITNESS JOURNAL

All cheerleaders (this year & next year's) need to purchase a journal. I will post questions, thoughts, ideas, etc. for you to reflect upon. This needs to be kept in your binder. Today's question-

#1-How often do you workout? Be specific...times, days, what do you do, can you do more, do you give 100%?

COOKIE DOUGH ARRIVAL

Cookie dough is scheduled to arrive at FHS between 10-11 am, however it will take us a little while to unload the truck and count the bins. You can pick the dough up between 1-4 pm today...location is still TBD. Dough must be picked up no later than 4 pm. Thanks!

Cookie Dough Update

As of right now, I am unable to find out the exact arrival time. They say it's usually by 2 pm, but we don't know yet. The trucking company is unable to give us an exact time. Plan on picking the dough up between 2-4 pm tomorrow. I still don't know the exact location. If you come to my room and we are somewhere else, I will leave a note on the door. I will also inform the front office where we will be once I know.

REMINDERS & NEW OPPORTUNITIES

REMINDER-Cookie dough will arrive this Thursday. I will post the time as soon as I know it Wednesday night. You can also call the school or come by my room to find out. Dough needs to be picked up no later than 5 pm on Thursday. At this point I'm planning on having it in my room, but it might change once I see how big the packs are on Thursday.

CANDLES-Once I know the pick up date for the candles, I will post it on the blog. Give it about 2 weeks.

PHYSICALS-Make your appointment now so you can get your physical done as soon as possible after June 1st. The physical must be dated after June 1, 2010 or it won't be valid. All physicals are due no later than July 1st. Email or call if you have questions.

NEW FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES-

1. PAMPERED CHEF-If your mom, grandma, aunt, or whomever would like to host a Pampered Chef party, then you will receive the profit from that party. Contact me if you are interested and I can set you up with a Pampered Chef consultant who can give more information.

2. FHS SUNGLASSES-Each pair costs $15.00 and you receive $7.00 profit per pair that you sell. I only have 150 pairs so it's first come first served. When you bring me the money, I will provide you with the sunglasses.



3. BEEF JERKY-Continue to sell beef jerky. I still have a box in my room. We will sell beef jerky until the beginning of June, so sell as much as you can in the next 2 weeks. You make $10.00 for every bag you sell.

4. ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS-The new 2010-2011 entertainment books will arrive June 1st. The book has tons of great coupons and is valid from June 2010-December 2011. That is a year and a half!! Each book costs $20 and you receive $8.00 per book you sell. I will announce when you can pick up your sample book.

5. BUSINESS DONATIONS-We are doing another Varsity cheer poster. I will pass out a letter that you can give to businesses. It asks for a $100 "donation" to place their business card on our poster. You will receive credit for the entire $100.00 "donation" that you bring in that will go directly towards your uniform. There will be a deadline and I'll announce that as soon as the poster picture date is set. Only Varsity is on the poster, however anyone from any squad can bring in business donations to receive credit. You may not hit up any businesses from this year's cheer poster or from this year's boy's water polo poster. Those are already spoken for...more info. to follow!

Cheerleader of the Month!

I will announce the last cheerleader of the month within the next two weeks! I'm very excited for our last round of COM for the 2009-2010 school year.

GRIZZLY GAME!!

Thanks to all those who sold tickets and came out Friday night for the FHS Night at Grizzly Stadium. The fireworks were wonderful and the Grizzlies won at the bottom of the 9th inning!! Plus we profited approximately $1200 from selling tickets. Here are some great pics of Mr. Reyes throwing out the 1st pitch.

Cookie Dough Arrival

The cookie dough order was placed today! We made $3551.00 profit! The cookie dough will arrive on Thursday, May 20th...2 weeks from tomorrow. Make arrangements to have the cookie dough picked up. I do not know the exact time yet, but as soon as I do I will post it. Any cookie dough not picked up during the given time will be given away. Good job to those who sold!!

After tallying all the cookie dough money, we profited over $3000! I will post the exact arrival date as soon as I know it. Congratulations to Mikena Powell for selling the most cookie dough...she sold 42 tubs!! Within the next week, I'll know everyone's individual profit for the cookie dough. Now go and keep selling that beef jerky and candles. Another fundraiser will be available in the next few weeks. Keep checking the blog. Make sure to turn in all candle money on time and tally up every column and double count your money. Email or call if you have questions.
